• The NT920HDI converts serial heading data received from different types of proprietary heading transmission sources (electronic compasses including GPS antenna types etc.) to the data type required by radars, track plotters and heading repeaters

• Suitable for stand alone use, the NT923HDI provides two channels of 10Hz NMEA 0183 heading output data and one Navitron serial output derived from a Navitron Heading Sensor Coil (HSC1 or HSC2) mounted above or below a good quality externally gymballed ships magnetic compass.

AIS installations are required to be connected to the vessels' Gyro compass in the form of a NMEA sentence. However many of the older gyro compasses in service are unable to provide this information. The NT925 HDI/VHW interface will overcome this problem by converting the gyro compass synchro or step information to the correct format for output to the AIS.

• Type Approved for stand alone use with azimuth tracking units of all kinds (radars, track plotters, antenna alignment systems, nav computers etc.) and Wheelmark approved for use with Navitron NT921G/NT951G/NT990G and NT991G autopilot systems, the NT925HDI provides four types of simultaneous output data converted from virtually any synchro or step by step gyrocompass heading outputs

• The NT990RTU is a robust stand-alone rudder angle transmission unit that provides two isolated digital outputs and one non-isolated analogue output for use by proprietary navigation computers and/or monitoring devices such as VDRs & S-VDRs.
• When mechanically coupled to the rudderstock / tiller arm, accurate rudder angle data is continuously transmitted to the receiving device.
• Contains a built in error management ensures that the NT990RTU detects illogical / fault conditions with resultant 'Invalid Data' transmissions if appropriate.
